                           Shape Tool


↳Shape Tool [Advance 2]:


         In this section, right click on the point
 and  select "convert to curve" option. Now, you can curve the shape in any direction according to you.

  • Short key of converting into curve is "Ctrl +Q"
  • You can curve your shape or line even with the help of blue handles.

In order to move the node point , just click and drag the point where you want to.


↳Shape Tool [Advance 3]:

                                          Shape tool is also used for text spacing. If you want to give 

space between the alphabets or between text lines, select Shape Tool.
  • [⇼ ]This is used for character spacing. Adjust the values of the character spacing            in the above bar on Corel interface.
  • [↨] This is used for line spacing. Adjust the value of line spacing inn the  above bar of Corel interface.

By clicking on the specific symbol, You can adjust the text alignment.






                     "SUB TOOLS OF SHAPE TOOL"

The shape tool consist the following subtools:

1:Smooth tool

2:Smear tool

3: Twirl tool 

4:Attract tool

5:Repel tool  

6:Smudge tool

7: Roughen tool


1) Smooth tool:

                         You can smooth curved objects to remove jagged edges and reduce the number of nodes. Alternatively, you can smooth shapes, such as rectangles or polygons, to give them an organic, hand-drawn look.
  • It smoothen the edges of the shape.

2) Smear tool:

                      Smudging and smearing let you shape an object by pulling extensions or making indents along its outline. With smudging, the extensions and indents resemble streaks that vary little in width as you drag with the Smudge brush too.
  • Used to attract and repel object in both inward and outward directions
    .

3)Twirl tool:

                   You can add twirl effects to objects. You can set the radius, speed, and direction of the twirl effects, and you can use the pressure of your digital pen to change the intensity of the twirl effect.
  • Used  for twirling of  object.

4)Attract tool:


                     The Attract  tools let you shape objects by attracting nodes. To control the shaping effect, you can vary the size of the brush nib and the speed at which the nodes are attracted or pushed away, and you can use the pressure of your digital pen
  • Used to attract the object in the direction, in which you drag the mouse.

5)Repel tool:


                   The Repel tools let you shape objects by pushing nodes away. To control the shaping effect, you can vary the size of the brush nib and the speed at which the nodes are attracted or pushed away, and you can use the pressure of your digital pen
  • Used to repel the object in the direction, in which you drag the mouse
    .

6)Smudge tool:


                       Smudging and smearing let you shape an object by pulling extensions or making indents along its outline. With smudging, the extensions and indents resemble streaks that vary little in width as you drag with the Smudge brush tool.
  • Used to drag outline randomly, either inward or outward.

7)Roughen Tool:

     The roughening effect lets you apply a jagged or spiked edge to objects, including lines, curves, and text. You can control the size, angle, direction, and number of the indentations whether you activate the graphics tablet stylus or apply settings to a mouse.

  • Used to convert outline into zig-zag manner.
